“With this piece, my aim was to create a garment both contemporary and traditional. The asymmetry of the fronts and the slight A-line of the back are a nod to alternative methods of shaping a piece of clothing, but the fit of the set-in sleeves is classic and flattering. There’s also something about patterned cardigans with stockinette back and sleeves that is also distinctly 1960s in flavor.
